For muscle strengthening & post-exercise recovery
Electrical Stimulation (EMS) is a non-invasive, non-addictive means of muscle strengthening and quick muscle recovery from sports events, rigorous exercise and muscle excursion. It also provides muscle rehabilitation after injury, surgery or disease. EMS units use an electrical current to simulate the same electrical impulses that are activated during normal exercise. By passively activating the muscle, the body responds in much the same way as during normal exercise. By placing a pair of electrodes on the target muscle or muscle group, the unit can send electrical impulses through the skin to underlying nerves, stimulating the contraction and relaxation of the muscle in a rhythm similar to daily exercise. Through continuous use of E-STIMS, the tetanic muscle stimulation will result in muscle tone, strength, and improve contour.
Who is EMS designed for?
For sportsmen and women:
To support their training and improve their performance, to speed up healing after certain injuries, to prepare for their season, to recover more quickly after intense effort, to provide pain relief.
For those who want to look after their body:
To keep in shape, for massages, to relieve heavy legs, low back or cervical pains, to support a physical rehabilitation programme, also to strengthen the abdominal muscles or other parts of the body.
