Dear HiTech Therapy Customer,
We hope you and your families are healthy and safe as we all work through this challenging time.
We wanted to update you on our work during the past few weeks. As a Medical Device company supplying Respiratory and other products used by Essential Service Providers, HiTech Therapy is classified as an essential business under the CIPC Essential Service regulations during the extended Lockdown. We hope to return next week, albeit still under government regulations.
We have made a number of workplace adaptations at HTT to manage through the COVID-19 pandemic. The changes include:
- Allowing employees to work remotely where possible. Phones are being diverted.
- All staff will be temperature screened every morning prior to work.
- Increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures have been applied to both
premises and staff .
- Use of PPE (mainly masks and disinfectant) at HTT is compulsory.
- Limited travel by HTT employees.
- Deliveries will be done by courier companies unless larger items
- All parcels and products will have been wiped down and disinfected when
received and before dispatched.
- Government regulations regarding social distancing and work force regulations
will be strictly adhered to.
- Sales people will not visit any practice unless invited to do so.
Our sales team and support sales teams, accounts department, workshop and stores are all functioning.
We remind you that you can still call the offices country wide and place orders

We continue to provide service and support through our online ticket system.

It may be a good time to service and calibrate equipment that has not been checked for a while.

HiTech Therapy is still open, however working under strict guidelines. Most of our staff are working from home, though the head office (JHB) will be open a few days a week.
All branches are closed for walk-in customers.
You can still place orders online, through sales personnel or on our app. Orders will be delivered to you via courier services.

The lockdown now looms.
The HiTech Therapy team is committed to adhere to all government regulations. We support President Ramaphosa’s decision to ‘flatten the curve’ of infections. We will comply with the lockdown rules.
However, we are still open … but working under strict guidelines. Most of our staff are working from home, however the head office will be open a few days a week.
HTT provides many critical care products that are in demand and it requires us to stay open at our head office in Johannesburg and offices in Cape Town. These include pulmonary products such as nebulisers, lung exercise devices - LUFT, peak flowmeters, bronchuvibes, disinfectant and hygiene products etc.
Our sales people will not visit you during this lock down of course, but will be making telephonic voice, text and mail contacts.
We are taking this opportunity to update our database, share some interesting ideas on line and on our social media platforms with you etc. Perhaps it’s time to look at a few articles, new innovative products and ideas that you would not have time to normally look at. We will be posting many interesting articles on our Website, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

The campaign is aimed at helping the medical professional stay in touch with their clients and even to supply rehab and exercise kits to patients who should be doing rehab.
