Main Device Warranty

• The HeartSave myPAD comes with an 8‑year manufacturer’s warranty.
• This covers manufacturing defects and reflects the device’s long‑term, low‑maintenance design. 

Battery & Electrode Lifetimes (Not Covered by Warranty)

Consumables are not included in the device warranty and have their own independent lifespans:

• Battery: approx. 5‑year standby life
• Electrode Pads: approx. 5‑year shelf life 

Note on battery durability:
The 5‑year standby life is based on ideal conditions (device in standby, no use, only regular self‑tests, temperature around 23°C ±2°C).
Outdoor storage or harsh environments will shorten battery life.
For this reason, we state a clarification that battery lifetime depends on usage and environmental conditions.: “Metrax accepts no liability for the service life of the battery, as many external factors influence battery longevity.” 

Warranty Conditions: To keep the warranty valid:

• Repairs must be done by Primedic or an authorised service partner
• Keep the original invoice as proof of purchase
• Follow the operating and maintenance instructions in the user manual
